2009 Summer Camps OVERNIGHT CAMP The overnight camp session is designed to provide a great learning atmosphere over the course of 3 days. All players will be grouped according to age and ability, and will be instructed in all areas of the game. This is an excellent camp to learn and reinforce the fundamentals, while also competing in contests, and situational play. The fundamental concepts of team play and off season workouts will also be covered. The camp will have 8 total sessions and 7 meals provided for each camper. ________________________________________________________________ Fundamental Skills Camp The fundamental skills camp is designed to introduce and improve all areas of the game for each player. All drills are introduced and taught from a beginner to advanced level, with a primary focus on teaching each layer how to develop their overall game. Skill improvement packets, drills, and various teaching lectures will give every player the tools to become the best player they can be. Each camper will receive a free T-shirt and camp basketball. For: Boys & Girls, Grades 3-12 Dates: July 13-16 Times: 9:00am-12:00pm Cost: $65  Competition Camp The competition camp is arguably the most entertaining camp offered at UWS. The camp is structured around numerous competitions that will improve overall skill and speed of play for each player. Awards are given for each competition, and campers are divided on age and skill level. Contests include: Buzzer Beater, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, Free Throws, Lightning, Skill Factory, and much more! Each camper will receive a free T-shirt and camp basketball. For: Boys & Girls, Grades 3-12 Dates: July 13-16 Times: 1:00pm-4:00pm Cost: $65 _______________________________________________________________ Shooting Camps The shooting camp is focused entirely on improving and mastering the techniques of proper form, shot selection, and repetition. In this one day camp, each camper will be introduced to numerous fundamental concepts improving form. Each camper should expect to shoot approximately 500 game speed shots this day, and will take home a skills packet at the completion of camp. This is a camp you will not want to miss!
