Matt Siverling
Head Coach

Siverling just completed his first season as the head coach of the Yellowjackets. Siverling came to the Yellowjackets following a three-year stint with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Prior to his time at Arkansas, Siverling was an assistant coach at WIAC-rival UW-Eau Claire (2004-07). Siverling also spent two seasons (2002-04) working with Billy Donovan and the Florida Gators.

Siverling, a native of Ladysmith, Wis., comes to the Yellowjackets following a three-year stint at the University of Arkansas. There, Siverling worked as a program specialist and video coordinator and helped the Razorbacks to the second round of the NCAA tournament in his first season. Prior to his time at Arkansas, Siverling was an assistant coach at WIAC-rival UW-Eau Claire (2004-07). In addition to his basketball duties, Siverling was an instructor in the department of kinesiology and was an assistant coach with the Blugold men's and women's golf teams. Siverling also spent two seasons (2002-04) at the University of Florida, under the tutelage of coaching legend Billy Donovan. With the Gators, Siverling was a graduate assistant coach, working with the team while completing his master's degree in exercise and sport sciences.

Siverling earned his bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from UW-Eau Claire in 2002. While a student at UW-Eau Claire, Siverling began honing his coaching skills as an assistant coach at Eau Claire North High School, a position he held for three years.

A 1997 graduate of Ladysmith High School, Siverling and his wife Lori reside in Superior with their two daughters.
